2025, what a year you were.
This year was all about people. Real love. Real laughter. Real, beautifully imperfect wedding days — documented just as they happened. From muddy wellies to candlelit chateaus, quiet nerves to full-on dancefloor chaos, every single couple brought something completely their own, and I loved telling every one of those stories.
One of the biggest highlights? Heading to Bordeaux in the South of France to photograph a wedding at a dreamy chateau. Warm air, golden light, long tables, happy tears — the kind of day that reminds me why storytelling photography will always have my heart. Different place, same emotions. Love really does look good everywhere.
Closer to home, 2025 also meant returning to some of my absolute favourite local venues.
Llanerch Vineyard — always stunning, always elegant, always full of feeling.
And Rosedew Farm — relaxed, soulful, and the perfect backdrop for couples who want their day to feel like them. These places feel like old friends now, and every wedding there somehow still feels brand new.
What stood out most this year wasn’t trends or timelines — it was connection. Couples laughing through speeches, stealing five minutes together, hugging their people a little tighter. Weddings that weren’t about perfection, but about presence. About being fully in it.
That’s what I aim to document — not staged moments, but real life unfolding. The in-between bits. The stories you’ll want to remember years from now.
This blog post is a celebration of every single couple who trusted me in 2025. Whether your day was big or small, local or abroad, sunshine or sideways rain — thank you. Thank you for letting me in, for being yourselves, and for creating days that were full of heart.
Looking ahead to 2026, I’m feeling so excited about what’s coming. I’ll be introducing 35mm film into client collections — slowing things down even more, embracing imperfection, texture, and nostalgia. A little extra magic, woven into the story of your day.
If 2025 taught me anything, it’s that love doesn’t need to be posed — it just needs to be felt. And I cannot wait to keep documenting it, exactly as it is.
